Dr. White was an unknown to me when I was admitted to the Swedish First Hill ER. He was assigned to my case. I feel extremely fortunate to have had him and his chief resident at the time as my doctors. He visited my room personally every day, and when he was sick he called my room. My visit didn't go as we expected, with the expected diagnosis, and when he had to do surgery and found ovarian carcinoma instead he did all the important biopsies that would be needed for diagnosis, drained the ascites and loosened any adhesions that were the cause of my bowel issues. He was extremely compassionate both with my family and I, and continued to follow up even as he passed my case on to GYN oncology. I couldn't have asked for a better all round physician, surgeon and human being than Dr White. I know it's equally hard on him to have to give bad news to families. Physicians can't carry all the bad news they have to give around with them, but if, like Dr White, they can listen, answer questions with honesty and just carry with them the recognition that people can deal with bad news given honestly and sensitively. It will change their lives, and It may take time, but that first delivery is important.

This was my 1st time to see Dr David White MD about having surgery to remove a cancerous issue in my left breast. Of course hearing the word cancer having anything to so with ones body tends to freak us out. Surgery, chemo therapy & radiation! Wait WHAT?! After my meeting with Dr White & him explaining everything to me. "It's a small 1.5cm. We caught it early. Surgery to eliminate the cancer & a little radiation & keep an eye on it! You will be okay!" I walked out of his office with a calm mind & ready to get it done. Dr David White is awesome!

Dr. David White is incredibly well educated including outside his area of practice. This was refreshing since the condition in question is a rare genetic disorder and most physicians, including my GP don't seem to know much about it. Dr. White went well above and beyond to make sure he knew what he would be dealing with so I would not end up with a situation that would cause me more problems at the end. Dr. White listened well and with kindness and courtesy. I went into a scary surgery feeling confident that I was in good hands.

Dr David White is one of the most caring doctors I have ever visited. He is is kind and compassionate and strives to find the root of the problem, even though it might be an unusual case. He did not give up on me although I felt most doctors would have. Now I am successfully healed due to his ability to figure out the best way to correct my problem. I think the world of him, and I'm so happy I was referred to such a wonderful surgeon!

Dr White was great! I'm very appreciative of him for fitting me in to his already busy schedule on short notice! I was dealing with pain going on 3 months and he was able to give me some relief on the first day I seen him. I am also very appreciative of my PCM for reaching out to Dr White. If it wasn't for him I'd probably still be waiting to see a breast surgeon from an in network clinic while still dealing with the pain.

This was my first visit with Dr. White. He quickly diagnosed my medical issue and indicated that no treatment was necessary at this time. He did recommend an ultrasound for a possible related issue which we are currently trying to schedule. Overall my visit was very professional and the doctor treated me and my wife with the utmost courtesy and respect, while maintaining an excellent communication manner.

This surgeon is easy to talk too, he listens, observes my abnormal growths and has recommended that I return to my original surgeon even though he has left PAC staff and is now in private practice. Dr. White is a calm, logical and efficient doctor. He explains things with just enough information without be alarmist and is personable with an appropriate sense of humor to make you feel comfortable. I'm still recovering from surgery, but so far, my experience has been much more positive than I had prepared myself for (less pain).
