Robotic Surgery

Robotic surgery is a type of minimally invasive surgery, using a tiny opening to get inside the body instead of making a large cut. It uses small tools attached to a thin robotic arm, which is controlled by the surgeon. Robotic surgery may be referred to by the specific kind of robot that is used. I was a patient of the doctor for a few years. I went in for a procedure which Dr. Sansobrino told me had a 99% successful ratio. The procedure was not successful and rather than explain to me what happened, he left while I was still under anesthesia,  told my husband and the hospital staff he would return, they tried to reach him he didn't respond and never called me next day. I had to reach out to him and he never offered any kind of apology of sympathy for what happened to me.  What kind of doctor has an unsuccessful surgical procedure and doesn't remain to let the patient know face to face or even place a phone call the next day. Very unprofessional. needless to say I had to end up going to another doctor and paying for medical expenses twice.  Very disappointing to say the least.
