Biography

Dr Daniel Tang is a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon who performs the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery at Inova Cardiac Surgery. He has a special interest in the surgical management of patients with end-stage heart and lung failure. He serves as Director of the Cardiothoracic Transplantation Program at Inova Health System. Dr Tang believes in providing comprehensive compassionate care to patients facing major surgery and life-threatening illness. Previously, Dr Tang held the Richard R Lower, MD Endowed Professorship in Cardiovascular Surgery and served as the Surgical Director of Cardiac Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support at Virginia Commonwealth University.
