I was seeing  Dr. Montgomery for several years due to the lack of physicians that accept Geisinger Family insurance.  I was feeling ill for 4 years, and every appointment with her was a waste of time.  The staff is rude.  They "forget" to refer you to a specialist.  I have been in need of a gynecological exam for 8 years.  I was never referred to a gynecologist.  I have been having chronic sinus infections for 5 years.  I was referred to an ALLERGIST!  No allergy tests were performed and I was given stronger and stronger antibiotics that compromised my immune system.  I am still getting sinus infections of increasing intensity.  I was never given bloodwork orders.  I finally got a recommendation to go to Coordinated Health in Allentown.  The physicians there ran blood tests on me and discovered that I have SEVERE CHRONIC ANEMIA, RA and possibly LUPUS.  I also have permanent damage to the ligaments in both wrists due to overwork.  Dr. Montgomery MISSED all of these problems while I got so sick that I cannot hold down a job.  Coordinated Health was fantastic, but now Geisinger Family insurance WILL NOT PAY FOR MY CARE AT COORDINATED HEALTH STARTING JANUARY 1, 2018 even though I am disabled due to all of the neglect from doctors in my area.  I am switching insurance companies and am hoping for the best.  Disgusting.
