One day during the summer season, I woke up with the realization that my right shoulder had been hurting most of the night and that I had lost most of my flexibility and movement to include numbness throughout my arm.  My initial notion was to put it off until the pain worsened to the point I couldn’t ignore it anymore. I finally decided after musing on the matter for three weeks that I should see my care provider. It was suggested after consultation that I get an x-ray. My doctor came back and told me that I had arthritis and that it had been there for several years. I asked for options. The doctor said that I could have injections in my shoulder every three months, and/or have physical therapy. I opted for a single injection and physical therapy. I was referred to Balanced Body Physical Therapy to get my shoulder and arm functioning normally again.

When I had my first visit with my physical therapist, Dallen, I knew I was in good company. Dallen and his staff took the time to address all of my concerns and place me in an immaculate environment where I could not only survive but thrive while going through therapy. Always professional and courteous, they helped me gain strength through stem treatments, hot and cold therapies, and precise exercise movements to include home exercises of my shoulder and arm. Dallen and his staff supported me in every way and taught me the correct body healing principles, and to not rush the healing process, but rather fully appreciate the journey of healing. With a complete recovery, my shoulder and arm function normally again because of Dallen and his team. I am grateful for their amazing service, cheery disposition, welcoming & healing environment, individual care, and compassion. I came to Dallen with back pain, he was able to quickly figure out why I was having pain, and came up with a plan on how to strengthen and regain my mobility. He was very patient with my lack of medical knowledge and showed me the various exercises that I needed to do to strengthen my back. I hurt my shoulder a few months later and I knew who I had to return back to. With Dallen helping me I was able to return back to my active lifestyle. I can say with confidence that with the help of Dallen and his team I am able to life a much higher quality of life.

I have known Dallen for 26 years.   He is by far the best physical therapist there is.   He taught me how to walk again after having my ankle partially amputated.  Also,  he helped me regain strength and movement in my hand after it was crushed and sustained extensive nerve damage.   Dallen was patient,  encouraging,  and extremely empathetic and genuine wirh me.  I couldn't have gotten through it without him.   I was able to walk,  run,  and play the piano again.   He never gave up on me.   I'm now back 26 years later after tearing my meniscus and having knee surgery.     He was the only person I would call or go to for my physical therapy.   He is always caring and still encouraging while pushing me to keep working hard.   Not only that but on those days i have to take my 4 yr old twins with me, he  is amazing with them and they absolutely love him!  His staff  is amazing and follow in his example.   I can't imagine a better experience!

I started a new job this past summer working a very physically demanding position in a warehouse.  I had previously worked for eight years installing carpet. Within the first few few months at my new job I began having back spasms. I went into the doctors office and was prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medication, which did not do anything to alleviate the symptoms. After another month or two of working I completely threw my back out.  I then decided to go into the emergency room for a diagnosis. They told me I more than likely had a herniated disc, and suggested that I consult a physical therapist before moving forward with an MRI. My uncle recommended I go to Balanced Body Physical Therapy. On my initial visit, Dallen Lovell spent 15-20 minutes diagnosing me, and concluded that not only did I not have a herniated disc, but I would also be able to make a full recovery. I have been going once to twice a week for the past 2 1/2 months. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. They do a great job motivating you. They were very informative, and helped me to develope better stretching and workout habits. I am very happy to say that after 2 1/2 months I have made a full recovery and have been able to return to full duty work for three full weeks now, and not only does my back feel great, but my work performance has been better than it ever has. I'm confident going forward that I'll continue to excel at work, and without an further injury because of the help I received from Dallen Lovell and the staff at Balanced Body PT. I would highly recommend going to see them if you're in need of physical therapy.
