Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Growing up 1 of 5 children, I was always told I was a good listener. I enjoyed learning about others' stories and experiences. Originally, I went to college as a Business Major, but as a Sophomore my Psychology 101 class transformed my perspective and my focus to mental health. I quickly changed my major to Psychology and began my path in the helping profession. What I want my patients to know about me: I started my career helping to develop a private Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents and young adults with mental health, behavioral, and substance issues in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
