Honestly wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to this genetic counselor. The initial in person visit went fine. However, good luck trying to communicate w/ her or her staff after the initial visit. She does not care about the welfare of children/teens. My daughter at 20 was dx w/ 2 rare genetic conditions. This was heartbreaking for both of us. Chelsea however, in a year may have replied to 3 messages at most. We drove 5hrs just to meet w/ her the first time. I cannot believe a University such as Vanderbilt employs such a non caring and person lacking any sort of compassion. A year later and we are having ti uproot our family to move somewhere up north to seek treatment from people who actually care about their patients. A year and we have no care plan - A YEAR! She is 21 yrs old and lives in pain daily. Nobody in our state even knows anything about her genetic conditions let alone how to treat them!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GENETIC COUNSELOR IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!!
