Dr. Charles Saad Choueiry, DDS

Dr. Choueiry identified decay under my old crown between the roots of the tooth base.  He was able to fill the void, and after a reasonable evaluation period, provide a new crown for me saving a probable implant/root canal.  I have found Dr Choueiry very personable and highly competent.  His assistant and office staff are all friendly and helpful. 

This dentist is horrible.  I went in because part of a tooth broke, he said he would fix it.  Went in & after the initial checkup I paid for (which he refused to give me a free cleaning kit even though his website said they would), he said I wouldn't need a root canal & that he would just rebuild it & put a crown on it.  He dropped the drill in my mouth while it was running & he hit my tooth causing a lot of pain but he never apologized or anything, just acted like it didn't happen.  After he was done he said to give it a couple of weeks & the pain would go way.  I got through about 1 week with horrible pain & finally had to call back in to have him look at it again.  I went back in & he said all of a sudden I would need a root canal.  Since there was absolutely no pain when I went in, it had to be from his previous shoddy work, but of course he made me pay full price for it & now had to drill into the very expensive crown he had just put in, weakening the strength of it when he could have just done the root canal during the initial visit since he knew he drilled to close to the roots & dropped the drill on my tooth.  The doctor knew he messed up & any time they were charging me he refused to be in the room while I vented my frustration with the nurses about his shoddy work.  They didn't even seem to care.  This is more of a money hungry tooth mutilator rather than a dentist.  I would give him 0 stars if I could.  If you're looking for a dentist, KEEP ON SEARCHING, THIS DENTIST IS NO GOOD & WILL LEAVE YOU IN MUCH PAIN!!
