I have been going to Dr. Stephens for quite a few years.  He is the first pain Dr. that has been able to get my pain under control.  I have gone from existing to living a full life.  I still have issues but, Dr. Stephens is always there to make suggestions and help me find different procedures and or medications to get me over a bad spell.  You are not just another number.  He actually cares about his patients and wants to see them recover and find different treatments to help you.  I trust him completely.  I know he always has my best interest at heart.

The staff is professional and friendly.  Dr. Stephens does an excellent job explaining the issues and options.  He's compassionate, professional and clearly an expert.   There is a humility about him that makes the patient feel comfortable and his care for the person is evident.  I highly recommend Dr. Stephens.

Dr was very good at trying to manage pain. His staff isHORRIBLE at getting anything processed or doing a call back. We have been going to him for over a year. This is a consistent problem. Whenever he changes the medication, we need a Prior Authorization sent to the insurance company. It usually takes days or a week to get them to do it. I have to call in everyday and I get the biggest run around.   My wife has been without pain medication at times because of their ineptness. They have not ever shown any care or concern over this. When we said we were leaving as a result, they did not care and did not even try to ask why or rectify any of these situations. They are by far the worst and rudest office staff we have ever come in contact with! Do not go to him, u less you want the headache of constant runaround and lack of proper care. We have no desire to ever return!
