This office is unethical and needs to be thoroughly audited. Caroline Nup started my RCT on 9/29/23 and said the procedure would take several months and cross into the 2024 insurance year. In 2024, she wanted to charge above the in-network contracted fee and demanded I pay more than $1600 out of pocket. When spoke with Aetna insurance, I learned that Nup attempted to illegally claim this RCT for 2024 when it should have been reported in 2023. When I switched to a new dentist and requested my dental records from Nup, she sent a new billing statement stating my treatment now costs over $2000 and threatened to send the outstanding balance to debt collections even though she did not complete the treatment and each office visit was part of the treatment plan she started in Sept 2023.
