Prior to moving to Summit County, Dr Loomis served as a pediatric hospitalist for more than 15,000 children of active-duty, U.S. Army soldiers at Fort Campbell, Kentucky while also caring for young clients at Centennial Pediatrics in Clarksville, Tennessee. He also spent one year in Bagdad, Iraq as a battalion surgeon. He is excited to get to know your family and watch your children grow and reach special milestones in their lives! I chose pediatrics because I like watching the development of the children, said Dr Loomis. I feel that with some specialty medicine one's professional focus is very narrow. As a pediatrician I get to be a specialist but also handle the specifics around all aspects of childhood health.
