I have been with this provider 5 years now. I have not regretted once I chose him over others. He will stand there and listen to what your problems are. I try to do research on my medical issues because I believe communication between both the patient and doctor is key to good health. So if I suggest something to try and it’s within reason with my diagnosis’s, he will agree to let me try it. Or he’s good at suggesting things. Very knowledgeable on medications on what might do better than the other. Impressive. I use the portal if something is important and he has a reply with in 24 hrs. Unless he’s on a vacation. I never have waited long to be seen after checking in, and I never wait more than 5 min when he walks in the room after the MA takes my vitals and checks my medications. Dr Somer is very good with his documentation and understand when reading your X-rays to talk with you in lay terms. As long as I live in Florida, I wouldn’t trade him in for anyone. He works with you on your concerns.
