I was looking for a new primary doctor because my other doctor, although nice, always resulted into wanting to give me pills for things. Now, I am a generally healthy man in my mid 30's. I am talking about general checkups and things like that. That's a no go for me when you don't know if anything is even wrong with me. So, I found Brittany Bobovnyik and decided to go here. Well, the wait wasn't too long and the staff seemed normal. What I mean is, nobody was rude or short with me, but nobody was super friendly and welcoming. I don't know about anyone else, but that is extremely important to me. Nobody wants to be at a doctors office. Inside, some people might be a little worried and nervous, so having a super friendly staff that makes you feel at ease and welcomed is such a great thing. Wasn't like that at this office. Just dry with no energy leaning either way. Brittany finally comes in, and mind you this was just a first appointment to change doctors. Like a meet and greet. A simple hey, I'm so and so, and heres my info, etc. She was nice, but has zero character. Just like the rest of the office. She checked basic things bp, weight, etc. I told her a little history, and the whole rest of the time, I just answered questions (general physical info), which she typed into her computer. Things I could do from home if they had a form for me to fill out. Didn't take that long, maybe 15 minutes. I leave the office, feeling somewhat disappointed with how dry the atmosphere was in there, especially because of how young she is. Just felt like she had zero passion, and again no character. Nothing motivating or feel good about that visit. I just felt like a number. Sure enough I got my bill. $117.00. That was after my insurance too. I could not believe the cost. There was no breakdown or itemization of how they get that cost. I'm telling you, I was in there for 15 minutes, and answered general questions that I could have done myself via a web form. The next day I went back to the office just to ask. I didn't want to make a big deal of it, but it kills me to know people are getting charged like this for THAT! It's insane. I tried asking the front desk to show me how they get that number. They looked at me like I was crazy for asking. They weren't helpful at all. The one older woman, said she would go ask the doctor to come out and talk to me to explain things. She never came and instead told me I would receive a call from her in the next couple days. That call never came. Overall, this is a horrible first time experience, and I would suggest anyone find another doctor if you care about getting great help from people who are actually compassionate.
