've been a patient of Dr P's since 2012. I had my concerns at first because of his lacking in the bed side manner.... I even brought a friend with me a few times to see if maybe my radar was off... she said he was blunt, no sugar coating, but not mean/rude just to be mean/rude. He has a very good sense of humor, even self-deprecating once you get past the no mixed words about the things you might be doing that impact your health. He isn't the dr for everyone, but he does care and he does fight for his patients. Other comments about the privacy in the office... over the last year the office has been totally redone, and privacy has been at the focus. The office looks great and they are so much more professional now that they have the layout to help them. Dr P has also had an PA over the last 2 years which has helped with some of the other concerns people have mentioned. My only complaint is the scheduling... no matter what day I schedule a visit, my appointment always starts late. Sadly, it was over an hour late on a few occasions. Note, I typically go in afternoons, so delayed appointments are usual for most doctors when morning appointments run late. 
He may not be the doctor for everyone, he is the doctor for me.
