I've had two back surgeries and was dreading a third, when my neurosurgeon suggested there was a chance I could benefit from a steroid injection in my cervical spine. Dr. Davis did the procedure, which was covered by my insurance, although I had a high deductible (not the doctor's fault, obviously). The procedure was handled seamlessly by the staff and I was always comfortable with my care. Within two weeks of the procedure, my pain was substantially resolved, and I have avoided surgery as a result. No medical procedure is guaranteed to work on every situation, but in my opinion, trying less invasive therapies before electing for spinal surgery is an obvious option. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Davis for those with conditions that might benefit from this therapy.

I've had Anthem bc/bs for 13 years. In the past 2 years I've had 5 major surgeries & many procedures. the insurance didn't deny any of my coverage until I had 2 neck injections that took 5 min in office. No one in the office bothered to inform me that I needed approval from my insurance to cover the injections. They weren't covered so I had to pay $720 for 5 min worth of work & the injections didn't even work. What a scam. I may as well have been injected with saline solution the outcome would have been the same.
