Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Midwifery is my calling. Caring for pregnant women and their unborn babies is my passion, my mission, and the way I serve humanity. This passion was with me since childhood, when I would would deliver my teddy bear's baby and attend the birth of countless guinea pigs and rabbits. The instinct to help and heal was always a driving force. Before becoming a midwife, I was an emergency medical technician, a paramedic, and a maternity nurse. What I want my patients to know about me: I came to Wellspan Health with a wealth of experience, having attended more than 1900 births in the hospital, at home, and at a free-standing birth center.
