I received acupuncture treatment at the clinic where she practices. Before my follow-up visit, the front desk explicitly told me there would be no out-of-pocket cost. I later received a bill for approximately $120 and contacted the clinic to ask what happened.

Instead of addressing the charge, the clinic offered me a time-limited free treatment as a resolution. However, during my last visit, I had a large suitcase with me and had clearly explained that I would be leaving Seattle and would not be returning in the near future. The offer therefore was not a practical solution for me.

When I later returned to Seattle and contacted the clinic again, I was told that the offer had expired, and the clinic said it would discharge me as a patient.

I would like the clinic to address the original insurance cost information and the $120 charge directly, rather than treating the expiration of an impractical offer as the resolution of the dispute.
