Dr. Bertram Jeffrey Hughes, DMD

I arrived in time for my appointment and sat in the waiting room for an 1.5 hours.  Then was taken back to a the exam room where I sat for another 25 mins.  Dr. Hughes finally came in and  introduced himself and then took 15 minutes wanting to know why I left my previous Dentist and lecturing me on how Dental plans were not insurance (even though I pay a premium); also, that my relationship with my dentist was more important then the cost of cleanings, etc.  Like the "cost of living" shouldn't matter to me.  I haven't had a filling in years and have only gone to have cleanings, which is covered by my Dental Insurance Plan as long as the Dentist is "In Network", which is why I went to Dr. Hughes in the first place.  Anyway, after feeling like my blood pressure had shot through the roof, I finally got out of the chair and left.  Obviously, this dentist is not a good fit for me and I will definitely not be returning.  I sure hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else....ruined my whole day.
