Biography

Dr Aziz Mehrzad has practiced Geriatric Medicine for more than 20 years in Evansville and takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to the health needs of older adults. His medical interests include dementia and delirium, depression and anxiety, gait disorders, balance disturbance and recurrent falls, as well as polypharmacy and management of multiple overlapping complicating illnesses. Dr Mehrzad earned his medical degree from the Hamburg University School of Medicine in Germany. He also completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Geriatric Fellowship at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr Mehrzad is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is fluent in four languages.
