Dr. Athar Shaikh, MD is a board-certified internist with over 35 years of experience. A graduate of Liaquat Medical College, he completed residencies in Internal Medicine (Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program) and Nuclear Medicine (Allegheny University Hospital–Hahnemann), along with clinical training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He specializes in treating gastroenteritis, hypertension, diabetes and other conditions, and is affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital.
