Dr. Anthony R. Bolamperti, DDS

Dr. Bolamperti performed a lip and tongue tie release on my child. He didn't allow the lidocaine to start to work and started injecting my child's lip. When they started to cry because of the pain he told them to "cooperate" and then told the staff to show me the waiting room and didn't explain anything other than "it won't take any time at all." I'm a medical provider myself and was baffled that I couldn't be with my minor child during this very painful and scary procedure. After over an of hour of listening to my child scream and cry from pain and fear of not being with her parent, I couldn't take it I was felt so horrible. The week leading up to the appointment my daughter was reassured by both of her parents and her speech therapist she was in good hands. But that couldn't be further than the truth once it all played out.  
 When I was allowed back, my child was shaking because they were so scared. I have never seen them like that, they are always a fun-loving child. Afterwards my child told me they felt like they were going to faint and were told "to be quiet", other words said to them were "quit crying" and "ssshh" from Dr. Anthony Bolamperti. When I spoke with Dr. Bolamperti later that day he blamed everything on his staff and never even apologized for be rude & rushed to my child (not even allowing the lidocaine to take effect) and disrespectful to me as the parent for not explaining anything but said it was the staff's fault and he planned to have a meeting with them. He has such an ego and thinks he is the best. You are NOT, Dr. Bolamperti, maybe you should take some lessons on how to become a caring health care provider that actually listens to his patients when they are in pain. Giving them more time for the lidocaine to work or maybe providing more lidocaine if needed vs. just doing a very invasive procedure or if they are scared let their parent be there for comfort. I know I would NEVER allow my patients to feel the way you made my child feel. 
I never want any other parent out there to experience the horror and helplessness my child felt and the helplessness as a parent to be able to do nothing but to sit there and listen to their screams. Please try finding a different dentist that wouldn't tell your little child "to be quiet" when they are in pain and can't do anything about it.
