Annette Marie Wilson, MA

I saw Dr. Wilson weekly for about two months, initially for insomnia (CBT-I), but she helped me with general relationship issues regarding my family dynamics.  We clicked right away.  She was very attentive and we had a great back and forth session every time.  
I was sad she left DMG (Duly) but I think they were sort of holding her back from doing what she really wanted to do in her career.

I saw Dr. Wilson for the last 2 years individually and with my spouse and she has helped us both in invaluable ways. She is a wonderful and relatable doctor, who was even able to get my spouse to change his opinion of therapy. We're very sad she's switching practices/focus so we aren't able to see her any longer, but throughout all the years I've seen psychologists, she has been far and away my absolute favorite and the most helpful. 

She missed two of our appointments and I come to find she did not even enter them in the MyChart as we were making them so of course they never happened. Then I spend like three or four sessions with her. I tell her one of the issues I have asleep and she tells me how she is asleep expert or whatever word she used to indicate such so we talked about doing a sleep Journal. I was referred to her by her practice because they said she specializes in people that also have physical medical issues so I would have thought she would have been a perfect fit. So we have these sessions she puts me out of mission and I get a call that they are giving me to a different doctor that could "better fit my needs".  I asked them to explain this because I told them I was giving her because she fit my needs. And I just kept hearing the same repeated phrase again and again. I asked if the person they were giving me was new to the practice thinking that maybe they just needed to fill up a new person schedule and sure enough I was told he had been there for" a few months".  So I communicate directly with Annette and she says the same words that he will better fit my needs. I personally do not like this doctor at all. I guess it worked out for the best anyway because she is one of those therapist from the TV sitcoms where she will just sit there and look at you without saying anything. I guess that's to prompt you to keep talking but it gets to a point where you're just sitting there and looking at each other for 10 minutes. She could ask a question. I'll answer it. But I just felt a lot of our appointments were wasted time anyway so I'm sure it worked out for the best
