I’m a person with treatment resistant depression who was looking desperately for help after many failed drug and treatment trials and was told by this dr. that “psychiatry has nothing else to offer me”. Good thing I was not suicidal. This still left me feeling helpless. These words should never be spoken to a patient especially by a psychiatrist or anyone in a therapeutic role. It’s Unprofessional and detrimental. I will assume this was hopefully an off day for this dr. And not the norm.
I was told there was nothing that could be done to help me if the one medicine didnt work. Left a mental health patient feeling worthless and helpless, kinda opposite of the point of seeing her. Ive literally never felt worse after an appt than with this lady.
Dr. Angela is attentive, caring and knowledgeable. She is patient and takes the time to listen and answers your questions. Highly recommend!

They have friendly staff, very welcoming. The waiting room has different styles of seats to accommodate everyone and us comfortable. Dr. Jacobs are understanding and listen to the patient and work with the patient to help them.
