I did not know my provider prior to coming in for my appointment, nor had I had any prior services from Swedish. That being said, I cannot emphasize enough what a great experience I had. My provider immediately put me at ease, took the time to explain information, discuss questions or concerns, and understand what I was experiencing. During the examination itself, she did everything in her power to make me feel both comfortable, heard, and not rushed. As someone who has had less positive experiences with providers from other groups, I was truly impressed with the care of this provider. By the end of my appointment I was almost emotional because, for the first time in a very long time, I felt like someone was willing to take their time with me and not diminish any of my concerns. Thank you so much for having such a great office and amazing provider. The quality of care I received was far beyond anything I expected, and I will not hesitate in recommending both this provider and Swedish to other women. Thank you again.

The provider, Andrea, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They showed respect for me and provided me information necessary to make informed choices. I valued their time. One challenge in this appointment had been rescheduled after a cancelled appointment in which I was never informed it had been cancelled and even made it through the check in process. For that visit (approx 1 month prior) I waited in the waiting area for over an hour only to ask reception and find out no provided could see me. That has really stuck in my mind as a poor patient experience, however the care of the provider I saw at this visit (Andrea) was so exceptional I will likely continue to return because I felt very supported

I had an IUD placed, and while it was one of the must excruciating experiences of my life, I am fully confident that my provider and her team did everything in their power to make it as easy as possible, and minimize the severity and duration of the painful aspects. Everyone at this office is always extremely lovely and wonderful, and I recommend your providers *constantly*. At least 5 of my friends or family are now gyn patients there, and some may become ob patients eventually. I only have excellent things to say about swedish midwives, and I say them often.

A couple of items - I don't understand why I can't make all my annual appts on Mychart. Why do I have to call to see an OB?This appt was great and I saw/heard new things that I was impressed by. I was asked if I would like a chaperone in the room. And the doctor would describe what she was about to do (i.e., "I'm going to place my left hand on your inner thigh, and my right hand..."). I think both of these examples are great for people with trauma.

Incredibly grateful for the care of the team my provider talked through a number of different options, and handled an uncomfortable procedure with great empathy and the perfect amount of humor to get me through. I felt so at ease with her expertise. Thank you!

Going into this appointment I was scared, nervous, and didn't know what to expect. But after seeing my provider, and she explained everything I felt better. Because I had more knowledge about what was going on and felt a little more at ease.
