Following a chemotherapy treatment I experienced severe, crushing chest pains and was rushed to the hospital. Even though some tests did not indicate a heart attack, the doctors at the hospital continued to treat it as one. I tried showing them information I found online about a possible side effect of the chemo drugs I was on that could cause these pains but I didn't feel like they were listening. I left after many hours with no answers feeling ignored. 

Luckily, I was referred to Dr. Barac. She was amazing. She spent an hour with me listening to my symptoms and reviewing several test results. She confirmed it was a side effect of my chemo and not a heart attack, explained what was happening, and prescribed medication. This completely resolved the issue. She continued to follow-up with me through my remaining chemo treatments.

While I greatly appreciate that she knew how to fix the problem, I appreciate even more that she took the time to listen and follow-up. I highly recommend Dr. Barac.
