I just discovered reviews that claim Dr. Barfield to be rude and dismissive. I do not know what happened to those people but hasten to add my review. I have been a patient of Dr. Barfield for over ten years. I find her very professional and spot on when it comes to listening and diagnosing. She and her staff have always been able to make room for me on a timely basis when I have been in need of medical care. Those seeking a compassionate and professional physician will find her - just that.

This Dr is so rude and dismissive. She really can’t be bothered with helping you. She was referred to me by my neurosurgeon, who I trust and valve his opinion…to be a liaison as I have a complicated medical history. She assumed I was a pill seeker even tho I never asked for one script. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical “professional”
