I decided to switch psychiatrists. He wants to prescribe medications for off-label. For example antihistamines for anxiety, as they cause a drowsy effect. I have severe insomnia, and I need FDA approved sleep medications which he is not willing to prescribe long term. I have to put my sleep first, as it impacts my ability to do my job effectively.
