Dr Alise Magnuson started her career as a pediatrician at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK in 1998. After braving the long cold winters for 4 years, she and her husband moved their 2 children to Roanoke, VA. Since then, she has been providing comprehensive and compassionate medical care to newborns, children and teens in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding communities. She joined the faculty of Carilion Clinic in 2026. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care including well visits, routine sick visits, asthma and allergy management, ADD/ADHD and depression and anxiety. She is also honored to have the privilege of being trusted by parents and caregivers to be a part of their child's healthcare journey.
