He obtained his medical school training at SUNY, University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine, and SUNY Upstate Medical University and performed his residency at a hospital affiliated with SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
