Dr Matthews did such an incredible job explaining the details of our son's injury and treatment plan to us and to him in ways he could understand. She was patient with the many questions we all had and gave an individualized care plan. She also took time to address his feelings as an athlete who will be unavailable to play his sport for a while and encouraged him to find other ways to stay active and engaged. It was some of the "body as a whole" care I've ever seen, and it was so appreciated.
