The doctor reviewed my X-rays (taken that day) and CT Scan on the computer screen right in front of me and showed me that the shoulder replacement was basically sound. Infection and nerve damage were the primary concerns and the doctor needed more information. He set up an aspiration infection test, blood test and nerve study test to gather the information he needed. The blood test was done the same day. Quite pleased with the path forward. Although neither outcome is very desirable, at least I should know the truth.
