How many older patients out there get the knock down of their life by suddenly being diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Disease? Many. After visiting Dr. H, I have become educated in the gray areas of kidney disease.
This doctor, is the most unkind, dismissive physician I have ever met. We are just one of the hordes of older people that traipse through his office every day. Classified as elderly, on Medicare, and not worth more time than Dr. Haratz can offer. Asking a question of him brings a shoot-down. Half the concerns, and sometimes tears get nothing from him. It's a sad state of affairs, that "congratulations, you are one of the more than half of the older population to get diagnosed with kidney disease. Stop doing this, this, and this, and don't call me." 
I say this with much thought to protect others who are sensitive to this like myself. Looking for a new doctor. Not for a pretty diagnoses, But, one I can live with and understand.
