This dentist cannot deal with my daughter’s cavity, instead of saying he doesn’t have the ability, he blamed my 8- years old daughter that my daughter had some issues only because she was shy and didn’t say hi immediately in the first visit. I want to sue him if I have a recording. Also, he only works certain days in the morning and didn’t tell the truth when I made the appointment.
This doctor fired me as a new patient stating he was unable to establish a doctor patient relationship with me. During my initial consultation he told me he did not agree with my prior dentist’s findings and made a comment about my previous dental work. During my second visit I had a filling done. I am an anxious patient and I let him know before we started. He completed the work and in all honesty I think he did a good job. After the work was done he had a conversation with me stating the reason I changed dentists was because I lacked confidence in my prior dentist. He said an issue with an old crown was not urgent and has been there since it was done. I clarified I didn’t leave my last dentist due to a lack of confidence but due to a change in insurance. I agreed about the crown and said he told me during the consultation the crown was not well done (perhaps my quote wasn’t exact but a statement was made). At this point he said he never says anything bad about other dentists. I told him we have different recollections of the conversation. He then told me I should see a different dentist and that he was not able to establish a doctor patient relationship with me. I asked him if he was “firing” me as a patient and he repeated he was not able to establish a doctor patient relationship with me and I should go to a different dentist. I was with my previous dentist office for about 25 years. Dr Eisenberg was the one who kept bringing up my old dentist. He failed to establish a new relationship with me because he was so focused on my old dentist rather than focusing on a fresh start with him as my new dentist, as I was attempting to do as a patient. I guess it was as simple as a personality clash but now I can’t see a new dentist until the first of the month when I can select a new primary dentist through my insurance. Just be aware he fires patients before you get started with him.
