Aaron B Bowen, MD, PhD is an attending neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr Bowen cares for patients with rare neurogenetic disorders and has a special interest in mitochondrial and other bioenergetic disorders. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Bowen conducts basic research into the cellular and metabolic consequences of mitochondrial dysfunction in the brain with the goal of understanding the root cause of neurodegeneration in these disorders.
