"It’s taken some time to write this, we had a long time to heal. On Jan 15th 2020 my son was seriously injured at school . He went into the childrens hospital with a severed finger and one that was hanging on by a piece of skin. We were all so scared. Dr. Unda walked in with compassion in his eyes right away. He proceeded to tell us that our 14 year old son would loose his fingers and there was no saving them. You could tell this was hard for him to have to tell us. Although at the time we didn’t acknowledge how hard this must have been for him, I can’t imagine how hard that must have been watching this family and child crumble from this news. Ours sons life would never be the same. Dr Unda was the Dr who would be performing the emergency surgery . He took his time and was so comforting and talked our son through everything he did step by step. Because of the care he took, our sons fingers look amazing and we are so grateful for that. We want him to know how much we recognize his work and dedication to making our sons hand look as nice as it does . I don’t think I have seen better work with the endless photos I have seen though the last two years.I couldn’t have imagined anyone else doing the work that he did for our son. I would ask for him again if ever needed. Thank you Dr Rodriguez- Unda should you see this we appreciate you greatly."
