Hematologists - Arlington, VA

"There was so much wrong with this provider interaction that I don't know where to start. First, the practice had not obtained my medical history, though I had long ago given consent to contact my PCP's office. Second, Dr. Le was twenty minutes late, seemingly having forgotten or not been informed of my presence in the exam room. Third, she was, to be generous, defensive in her presentation and, to be less generous, hostile. I had exactly one question that needed an answer from a hematologist, and Dr. Le neither was able to respond clearly nor was current on the research; she actually spent as much of the brief consult conducting the identical Internet search I had already done prior to the appointment. The upshot: I departed knowing nothing additional about my condition and the need for follow-up. What I did learn was that I need a consultation with a different hematologist. This was a tremendous waste of time and insurance coverage. "
