"I saw Dr. Bowman through my entire third pregnancy. I had recently moved across country, was extremely nauseous very early on but didn't have a local doctor. While Dr. Bowman didn't have any availability for appointments for several weeks (12 weeks) she wrote a prescription for anti-nausea medication. I will agree that she is very blunt and her bedside manner may be a bit 'lacking' in the sense that she is not what you might describe as friendly. But she is authentic and I never felt belittled, talked down to or ignored. I truely felt I was receiving the best care from Dr. Bowman. She is rather quick, not waisting time, during visits so it is best to think of and even write down questions and concerns so you are prepared when she asks. Whenever I did have questions she answered them thoroughly and patiently. She was very open and supportive of my birth plan. I delivered naturally without an epidural but was induced for convince."
