"I came down with sciatic pain down my left leg to my foot over the memorial day holidays. I mean the pain was so severe I laid on the floor with my legs on an ottoman for six solid days. The most excruciating pain I have ever felt, I could not walk, sit or stand. I got a ride to Dr. Garcia's office, had to wait three hours (miserable), then was called in. He diagnosed me and I didn't think the diagnosis was right but it was spot on. I got a shot in the glute of a strong NSAID, and a prescription of muscle relaxers, and strong pain medication. After he looked at my MRI I have a herniated and ruptured L3-L4 disc. The gel has extruded and is pressing on my root nerve causing the inflammation and pain. Well, all said I am using better posture, pillows at night, trying to avoid a surgery. "
