Dermatologists - Tyler, TX

"I am very surprised and disappointed that I need to place this review. If there were 0 stars available, that would be the score. I was told multiple times by multiple Aetna providers (inc. Teledoc) that dermatology and allergy testing was how I needed to move forward with my severe poison ivy. I called this office two weeks ago, explained full situation, they acted like they were listening, and they said they would get me the requested information that day or the next. The info. I requested was ballpark pricing for new patient, allergy testing, and allergy shots. At no point did the provider say they don't do that. I' was then transferred to leave a message for the right person to get that done, who never even called me back. I called back today. I told them why I was calling. They spent lots of time looking me up in a system I'm not in and that they never asked me if I was in and that I didn't know they were looking for me in. Even though I had just said I was waiting for the rates for allergy testing/shots, and they later told me they don't even do that, they still took all their/my time to search around. So it turns out they don't do allergy at all, but no one told me the first day or today that they don't, until they had put my time out during my work day. I was even asked "Are you sure you're calling the right place?"...I said I am just sitting in my office following up and that any other information would have to come from them since they know what they do and I don't. And when I thanked the person for their time anyway, she simply hung up. This was a ghastly customer experience and I'm zero percent further along than I was weeks ago. This is not acceptable treatment."

"I mean, they treat medicare patients bascially like meal ticket cattle. He saw me at the end and when i expressed my concern over the constant pain over the scarring he didnt apologize but instead just wrote me off a letter of discharge. They obviously dont like comfort of the patient as its too much of an expense. Staff was worse when trying to obtain the Full Medical record."
