"Dr Martinez has been my family's PCP for nearly 4 years now. She is our fifth PCP over the last 23 years, and she is the best so far! She is very knowledgeable and she truly cares about you and your concerns. She has never made me feel rushed or that my feelings and concerns were not important. "I initially chose this practice because of its convenient location and Dr. Dyhianto's affiliation with Magnolia Family Medicine. Unfortunately, my experience as a new patient fell well below my expectations and healthcare ethics in my opinion. The initial check-in process was disorganized from the start. I requested an electronic version of the new patient forms but was told I had to complete the downloaded paper forms instead. After completing multiple paper forms, I later received an electronic version, which I also completed and submitted. However, upon arriving for my appointment, I was informed that my electronic paperwork was not in the system and was required to complete the forms again. There was no front desk apology or recognition that there was a problem with their system. More notably, I made a very specific request regarding filling my blood pressure medication. Because I have experienced allergic reactions to medications from certain manufacturers, I provided the exact National Drug Code (NDC) number for the manufacturer that I can safely take; upon prescription refill, the specific request was not followed. Therefore, I spent several days calling local pharmacies only to learn that NDC prescription was only available through mail order. But due to the active incorrect prescription being in the system, I could not get the prescription filled. I made multiple calls to the doctor’s office and left messages for the front desk voicemail, voice mails for the nursing staff and message with another office staff member. But I did not receive a return call. Subsequently, I contacted my insurance provider mail order pharmacy, they also faxed the prescription details and left one to two voicemails, to request that a new prescription be submitted with the correct NDC, yet neither the fax nor the phone calls received a response. In more than six decades of receiving primary care, this was among the most unprofessional and dismissive healthcare experiences I have encountered. Effective patient care depends not only on medical knowledge but also on listening, clear communication, responsiveness, and respect for patient safety—particularly when a patient has documented medication sensitivities. To date, I have never received a response from the office even after canceling a follow-up care appointment following these events. Fortunately, I have found an outstanding new primary care physician. So, decided to share this review not simply to express my dissatisfaction, but in the hope that the practice will reflect on this experience and make meaningful improvements so that future patients receive the attentive, responsive, and respectful care they deserve. "I have been seeing Dr. Casagrande for a couple of years since my PCP passed away in 2020. He is straight forward, easy to talk to and answers your questions with a great deal of honesty. The two nurse practitioners in his office are also great. Something that is extremely convenient, he has a Lab Corps station in his office, no need to go elsewhere to get labs done. They have always fit me in when needed at last minute with very little wait. "
