"I have never seen a Dr. that spends so little time with his patients as Dr. Liu does. He talks very fast and in medical terms, so the staff/nurse had to translate everything each time I was there. I asked the staff/nurse if this was his normal way of working and the answer was yes. He hardly says a hello and never a goodbye, just in and out. The staff I was in contact with was great, friendly knowledgeable and service minded. The procedure I went in for was unfortunately not completely successful, I still have much the same issue, but I am not going back to Dr. Liu again. Dr. Liu also has a financial interest in Cy-Fair Surgery Center where I had my surgery (this was disclosed to me before the surgery, so I had no problem with that), but I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is run down and old and seemed understaffed. As a patient I was asked to climb up on the high surgery table without any assistance, never had that happened to me before anywhere else. I left after the surgery feeling this is just a "get them in and out quickly" kind of place. One last thing to know, I had my appointment August 26, 2022 where I was presented with the Surgical Precertification that included how much I had to pay out of pocket which I was fine with. Then I do not hear anything until November 18, 2022 (almost 3 months later) when my Insurance Company sends me a letter denying coverage for 6 of the 17 CPT's that I was scheduled to have per the Surgical Precertification I got August 26, 2022. Turned out that Dr. Liu had not sent in the Surgical Precertification to my Insurance Company until November 16, 2022 (when it was received by my Insurance Company - it took Dr. Liu almost 3 months to send the papers in). When I contacted the Dr. office about this, the option they gave me was to go forward with only the CPT's that were covered or I could include them all and pay out of pocket for the rest was significantly more than the first estimate that I got. I was also informed that Dr. Liu never went in and negotiated these things with the Insurance Companies, so it was up to me to deal with them and try to convince them that the CPT's were needed. My surgery was scheduled for December 8, 2022, so it left me no time to try to appeal the decision. "
