"Dr. Hellerstedt is amazing. God could not have placed me with a better Oncologist after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'll never forget how she called me while she was on vacation and spent a lot of time with me explaining what I could expect during my cancer treatment, but she consoled me and gave me HOPE of not only having successful treatment regimen, plan, and outcome, but that I could expect a low risk of having a breast cancer reoccurrence in the future. I thank GOD for her, as she seemed to really care about me and my road to a cancer free life. Everyday I declare that I am a cancer survivor because she instilled in me that HOPE. She works hard for her patients. May the Good Lord continue to use her in a mighty way. "

"I don’t normally write bad reviews, however, my experience with Dr. Ashworth was deeply disappointing. I struggle to express myself effectively and remember important details during doctor’s appointments, so I brought several documents to assist me. A couple of these documents were generated with the help of AI and suggested some possible interpretations of my symptoms. It immediately became very apparent this was a misstep and a hot button issue because she was extremely defensive over it. Despite emphasizing throughout the appointment and in other documentation I provided that my thoughts and feelings are highly dependent upon her professional analysis and recommendations, she never seemed to fully recover. Her bedside manner was cold, condescending, and dismissive. By the time we finished, I felt like I had more questions than answers. When I asked about the possibility of hormones affecting blood levels and symptoms, “see an endocrinologist.” Extreme hair loss? “See a dermatologist.” Neuropathy? “See a neurologist.” High cholesterol and BPM? “Not related.” Honestly, it was interesting to me how she got so upset over patients using AI for help then proceeded to be so…unhelpful. She offered minimal to no input and as someone on a HMO, god knows how long it would take to get referrals and appointments with all those specialists. To make matters worse, I had forgotten to ask one crucial question, so I returned after labs only to overhear her venting and laughing with her staff about me. I couldn’t help feeling discouraged and like my health was seen as a joke. Patients deserve compassion, respect, and privacy, none of which were upheld during this visit. I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision."
