Pediatricians - Leander, TX

"Doctor is terrible. We have twins and normally book appointments at the same time. Nurse comes in we spend a lot time explaining everything that is either going on or has gone on so that doctor has good information so that he can make a good assessment of their health to the nurse. Nurse seems to write everything down... but then the doctor comes in and says absolutely nothing about everything that was explained to him.. Gives the required vaccinations and puts on our way. Utterly ridiculous. This last visit was the final straw. We missed our scheduled appointment because flights where cancelled due to hurricane Harvey and when they called we were in transit. They rescheduled us, next thing you know they charge us a no show fee, even though we explained that the appointment was missed due to the hurricane. That really was the final straw with this doctor and so we are changing. They don't even take the time to fill out their baby books with the vaccines that were given to them."

"I was looking for a new PCP that wasn't as booked as my other one. I had read good reviews on Dr Ordonez-Sanchez on other sites and thought I'd give her a try. I checked in on time and was taken to a room fairly quickly. The wait time after the nurse took all my vitals and asked all the normal questions was very long. However, I understood why after speaking with the doctor. She is thorough, attentive and wants a full history before making her recommendations. Understandably, if she is this diligent with all her patients, depending on the issues of the day, it could cause her to run behind schedule. For me, it's more important that a doctor wants to know the full story and listens to everything you have to say, than for them to be short and dismissive but on time. I'm glad I found her and, she may be busy, but she gives you her full attention during the appointment. I don't know what the other reviewer was going through but, my experience with her staff and her was excellent. "

"Dr. Li-Pelaez has been our pediatrician for over 18 months now. We moved to Texas at the beginning of the pandemic, so a lot of doctors were not accepting new patients. Her practice (Panda Pediatrics) was very kind in those crazy times, they followed strict COVID guidelines and were always able to schedule us in. At the time, we had two boys under 2, one with double ear and the other one with urine infections. She was very knowledgeable, patient answering our many questions, made us comfortable, calmed us immediately and her bedside manner was amazing - I knew we had found our pediatrician! The boys now know her very well, and love her. The staff is also great (nurses, receptionist) and the office/waiting rooms, etc. are always very clean. "
