Rheumatologists - Katy, TX

"I have been seeing Dr. Rizvi for over three years at this point. She was recommended to me by a co-worker and I am so grateful that I finally got someone to listen to me and understand my concerns. I have always been told I was too young to have joint pain and a thousand other excuses. Dr. Rizvi and her team have help craft a treatment plan that I am comfortable with. They always put my comfort first. She has helped with changes in insurance plans and getting the Prior Authorizations taken care of. It used to be that I would have to wait when I am seeing her, but now that she has her PA that seems to have changed a lot. I am grateful for such a great team to see to my needs. "

"MD Malani is great. She is very informative during your visit and she really cares about you feeling better. Her staff on the other hand is a WHOLE other issue. I had my first appointment on 1/25/2018. I paid my copay because I hadn't meet my deductible yet, ok no problem. Weeks go by and I don't here anything from the office, I have received my EOB from my insurance so I know they covered the visit and I am owed a reimbursement. I have called the office more than 30 times since the visit and do you know I STILL haven't gotten my money back???? They play games and give you the run around saying that the "guy who does the billing" doesn't work in the office and he is always on the go. I could care less, I need my money. It's now April 11th 2018, I am going to call for the 85th time tomorrow and let them know if I don't receive a call back from the "guy" by the end of business day tomorrow, I'm just going to move forward with filing a fraud charge against her office with my bank. To top things off her office staff is lazy at the Humble location. It took them multiple weeks just to do a simple PA on my mediation that could have been handled in one phone call. How do I know it could have been done over the phone instantly? Well because I actually work for my insurance company in the PA department and I know how it goes, so they couldn't play that game with me. I called their office every week for 4 weeks until they finally got off their butts and did something. I have RA which is a very painful disease and they could care less about getting me my medication as soon as they could. I finally got it three weeks ago......yes in March from my January visit. I darn near had to use some foul language to get it done which is ridiculous for a "professional" doctors office. I read the bad reviews and made up my mind to try out MD Malani because she herself has amazing reviews, and I figured I'd be real straight forward with her staff to get things done but I wish I would have simply found a different doctor and saved myself the time. I have another appointment next month and I will be cancelling that tomorrow and I am moving to a different MD. Her staff needs to be replaced entirely, if she does that then and only then would I recommend going to her office."
