She addressed my concerns I have been dealing with for my skin and educated on further preventions. Highly recommended."

"My daughter is a patient of Dr. Laurent. She was seen in his office for red acnes with tiny black spots on her cheek, small white pimples on her forehead and neck. She also suffers with itching sometimes. He prescribed her Desonide topical cream 0.05 % to apply BID for 10 days, and Zilxi topical foam 1.5% to apply daily. However, the steroid cream helps a little bit, but not the Zilxi foam. I called his office 2 weeks after if he would call in another med for her. His staff told me Dr. Laurent wants my daughter keeps using Zilxi foam. I mentioned to his staff that this foam did not help with her problems at all, then she said Dr. Laurent wants to see my daughter again. I tried to explain to his staff my daughter just was in his office 2 weeks ago, and she has the same problems, why she has to come back? Dr. Laurent would hear our conversation. He picked up the phone and said my daughter is an adult and I involved in her treatment too much. My daughter was about to go to school at that time, therefore, I called the office staff for her. I gave the phone to my daughter to speak to Dr. Laurent. He told her to wipe off the black spots and also use vaseline to treat her problems. My daughter told him she has tried, but the black spots of the acnes did not go away. When the client has black spot acnes, that's mean her/his skin is abnormal and not healthy. What kind of physician is he when he told my daughter to wipe off the acne black spots on her cheek? On the other hand, although my daughter is 22 years old, she is always my little daughter. She signed an authorization form in his office allowed me to get involve on behave of her treatment. He can't tell me not to get involve, because his culture is not as same as our culture. It's so funny when the doctor tells his client to wipe off black pimples on her cheek. What do you think? Do you think is this a proper acnes treatment? In addition, his office staff are rude and not friendly. We don't feel welcome at all. Over all, we are not happy with his treatment. "
