Gastroenterologists - Georgetown, TX

"Dr. Amaro is a great doctor with a good bedside manner. Unfortunately, getting to see him is a mess. My wife and I have been seeing him for about a year and are leaving due to his and his staff's poor scheduling coordination. We had a procedure that we were waiting 6 months to get done and his staff called us the day before to cancel. Fast forward to 4 weeks later, we have called 2x and were told we would get a call back for scheduling and we never did. Then on the 3rd call, we were told that we could be seen in 2 weeks. When we explained that that date would be possible for us, no other dates were offered and we were told we'd be told later when something opened up. When I called the next day to see why there weren't any other dates being scheduled, I was told that the books for scheduling aren't updated yet. We feel that starting from scratch will still be faster than staying on with Amaro. Cant seem to move forward. "
