"His staff is terrible!!!! On my first (and only visit) the employee that set up my CEA test and next visit was just rude! Not only was she snippy with me she yelled at one her co-workers telling her she had to turn off the foot heater that was under her desk. Then the day before my next appointment I get a VM from them "Greg we need to reschedule your 3:00 appointment for tomorrow" I'm not Greg and I do have an appointment is for tomorrow but at 2:45 so I call to tell them they had contacted the wrong person only to be put on hold, after 5 minutes I hung up. Later that afternoon I get another call from them telling me they had to reschedule my appointment. I asked her why am just now hearing this and she snips back at me didn't you check the portal? I explained to her no why I would check the portal, I plan on showing up for my appointment. I had already been waiting a week to hear my test results, so I asked what the reason was for having to reschedule and I was told that Dr. Kindsvater had a family emergency. I explained to her that I had already taken the afternoon off from work and that I would like to know my test results, couldn't one of the other doctors go over test result with me even if it was a virtual visit. She said she would call me back, but she never called back. Needless to say, I have found a new Cardiologists and I confirm that if this situation was to happen with their office that they would have one of his colleagues go over the test results. "

"Very short waiting time. Office staff was pleasant. I had met this doctor at the hospital after I had went to ER and was kept overnight for observation. Dr. Ramanath was the Cardio that took care of me and I was very impressed with him. Last year I had to get a pacemaker and it is overwhelming but now I think I found a doctor who will be great for me!"

"I had been to the ER twice in 2019 w chest pain and difficulty breathing. The second time, Summer, the ER Dr.insisted I go see a cardiologist. As the first ER Dr had asked me to go see a cardiologist as well, but I never went. Not sure how I received John’s name, but that’s where I ended up. His office is inside Texas Health Hospital, I’ve had great experiences with several Texas Health Hospitals and Physicians, so why wouldn’t I choose John Lee, his office is inside a THH at Allen. Since I’ve had many positive experiences there, I chose him. Big mistake. He’s the most uncaring Dr I’ve ever been to. I’m a patient with so many Drs, I can’t even begin to count, I have several medical issues that require a few diff Drs in different specialties. I’m at my Appt, go to check in, his staff is great! I was called back and put in a room and waited, John comes in dragging his feet, like he was just woken up from a nap. He introduced himself and then asked why I was there. I told him I’d been having chest pains that also make it hard to breathe. He never touched me, to listen to my heart, suggest any tests to try and figure out what’s going on w me, nothing. I told him my symptoms and he replied, “it’s acid reflux”. He knew nothing about me. Didn’t have one of my files to review, nothing. Granted I could have popped up on the TH office program, showing my records. But to not even ask about anything else or even listen to my heart?! I was just an inconvenience to him. Additionally, after he insulted me, I know what acid reflux is, he asked if I’d ever had a calcium test. I told him I hadn’t. He said,”…you should have already had one at your age. It will come back zero and you have to pay for the test as insurance doesn’t cover calcium tests. Lovely. I went right over to radiology and had the test. This was in 2019, way before we even knew anything about the pandemic. I actually forgot about it, until right now. I remember the tech saying their office would have the results that same afternoon. It’s been over two years now and I still don’t know what those results are. I’m wondering how so many of his patients gave him all of these glowing reviews, it’s crazy to me! Are we talking about the same John Lee that has his office inside THH?! Did we see the same person??? I wonder how much longer I’m going to have to wait to get my results, it’s 2022?! I’ll never make another Appt w him. After I left there I could have had a stroke or heart attack and he could have cared less. Instead my symptoms have only gotten worse. UPDATE: After last ER visit Dr said I had a hiatal hernia. I followed up with Dr Eidem, he did a endoscopy and colonoscopy. He then referred me to Dr Patel (gastroenterologist surgeon). At this point my stomach had moved past hiatal and into my chest cavity. I could have died! IF John had done his job, I could have known what was wrong, had the surgery to correct 3 years ago, felt better 3 years ago and I would not have to spend thousands visiting the ER multiple times! "
