"Dr. Bach does not like it when you advocate for your own health. I tried to show him my list of symptoms I’ve collected throughout the years and he refused to look at it and told me he would take my phone from me if I kept researching. I’m desperate for answers. When I got diagnosed with gastroparesis, he blamed it on use of narcotics (which I was only on during my hospital stay). I’ve been suffering w my food not digesting for my ENTIRE LIFE but Covid made things much worse. I’ve been throwing up for a month and a half now and I’ve never felt more dismissed by a doctor or his staff in my entire life. He also blamed everything on anxiety and depression. I’ve found docs do this to protect their egos when they cannot help you. His nurse practitioner erica koons runs clinic for him. She went to online Kaplan university and university of phoenix and is NOT qualified to run clinic alone. Review ab her: My first encounter with Ms. Kouns was very rushed. I left feeling confused and not knowing what procedures I was having done or what I needed to do. I never received a colonoscopy or endoscopy prep sheet in the mail as promised OR in person. Erika speaks AT you and doesn’t let you speak back. If you do get a few words in, she tells you you’re being disrespectful. This woman is a narcissist and doesn’t care about your well being. This office needs DOCTORS not nurses pretending to be doctors. She hung up on me bc I was crying bc she wouldn’t let me explain my gastroparesis had been happening for 10+ years. She just wants to label everyone as a drug addict and her doctor in crime likes to label everyone with mental illness. They just don’t know what they are doing. I’ve never been treated with such awful care or with less dignity in my entire life. AVOID THIS WOMAN AND DR BACH AT ALL COSTS. now I’m just sick AND depressed. Thanks for NOTHING. Also to punish me, she didn’t call in meds"

"I'm a new patient (or WOULD have been). I called to schedule a colonoscopy, and whoever does that was pretty rude. First off, I had to navigate voice mail h*ll, and eventually gave up and left my name and number for them to call back. 24 hours later, no call back. So I called again, braved the voice mail system again, and finally got to a human. I was better off with the voice mail! The lady (missed her name) spoke at high speed like she had better things to do than talk to me, rattled off lots of acronyms and seemed put out when I asked for explanations. Then she insisted I fax things instead of plain old e-mail -- and who has access to a fax these days? The doctor may be the best doctor in the world, but I'll never find out. The gatekeeper guarded the gate far too well. I called a different practice (Phila Gastroenterology Consultants), got to a human quickly, and scheduled a meeting with the doctor for the very next day. Nice."
