Neurologists - Columbia, SC

"Day 1 was an hour behind but he spent an hour with me to get to know me. He talked very fast and works very fast so it was hard for me to keep up since I was out of it from the head pain/ache. He gave me lidocaine shots (was on in the office already ready on the first visit like this was a regular thing he does) for headaches that numb my face (experimental charge not covered) but my headache was still present and prescriptions for other things. I was given magnesium IV another day (also not covered). Staff was not patient enough for my issue coming in with a bad headache. I was not billed, not even co pay taken, til a month and a half later for 155 then over 600 and I’m waiting for another bill from another visit. I’ve seen other specialist even neurologist in Marin county before but this is the first time I have ever receive a bill from an office visit of this magnitude. I have to stop treatment short because financially it causing more stress and headaches to continue. I don’t believe this is in network with my insurance Aetna and should be removed from my search list to protect other patient who won’t know. I was given experimental treatment which was not covered by my insurance and I did not know this was the case since I came in with a bad headache and was impaired. They should warn the patients before doing experimental practice not going to be covered by insurance so the patients don’t get surprised with bills like this because this is just bad service. I do not recommend this place."

"If your Skin is is brown.. he’s not going to give a f*ck about you! I told my primary care to refer me to another neurologist because he sucks! He told me he’s been doing that for 20 years.. Prisma shouldn’t be allowing him to have patients. I’m not the one who feels he is a terrible neurologist. Wish I was able to see another doctor. As he does is rush you and give you a higher dosage of your meds. I had two patients in front of me when I got there and I can tell he rushed because I was sitting in the room room for ten minutes and then he came in. I told an assistant that he’s not a good doctor and all she could do was laugh and give me a “I know” look. F**k him and yes I said it"

"I have been disappointed in this doctor. I felt neglected when I needed her most. I had a terrible experience with her and it has left me traumatized and with scars that won't ever go away. Everybody deserves their dignity no matter what their diagnosis might be."
