"My children and I were court ordered to see Ms. Shivok as personally ha d picked by the guardian ad litem, Cynthia Tilden. Ms. Shivok seemed to have a preconceived, negative opinion regarding the mother/targeted parent. She made it very clear that nothing that is said or done would be reported to the guardian ad litem or to the courts. My children and I already have trust issues with therapist as everyone of them has described their office as a safe place and then made reports that got “mommy and daddy in trouble.“ she made it very difficult to reunite with my alienated children as their disrespectful behavior was not only tolerated, it was encouraged. The targeted parent was often mislead on how to address different situations regarding the children. She missed emotional cues from the children indicating that they were trying to show affection toward me, the targeted parent. She stressed very often that she did not want to do anything regarding the courts, however, she was quick to testify a recommendation based off of non-credible statements from a child that so far has caused my kids and I not to be together for five months and counting."
